Porch Pots FAQ
Q: What size does my container need to be?
A: Your container should have a diameter of 12” or larger.
Q: Do I need soil for my container?
A: Yes, we recommend GreenAll® Natural & Organic Potting Soil.
Q: What is included with my Porch Pots purchase?
A: Your winning combination of plants come in a temporary container - 6” depth, 10” diameter, and modest care instructions.
Q: When will I receive my seasonal container recipe?
A: Your seasonal Porch Pots ships March 15, June 14, and September 13. You will be provided with tracking information so you can follow the journey.
Q: How do I properly plant my Porch Pots?
A: Start with a pot that has drainage holes and healthy soil. Carefully remove your Porch Pots from the box and water thoroughly. Remove the temporary container, and set the rootball on the soil. Backfill with your planting mix. Water thoroughly again.
Q: How do I know when to water?
A: Now it’s time to get your fingers dirty. Check soil at a depth of three inches, if the soil is dry, it’s time to water. We recommend watering, and allowing the water to completely drain. If the soil has pulled away from the edges of the pot the water may go around the rootball, not through it. Be sure to soak the rootball.
